Here are a few pictures to update ya’ll on what we’ve been doing the past few weeks.
The weather has been wonderfully warm so the dogs had to suffer through a spring bath!
Frisky doesn’t mind it so much, with her heavy coat, but Minnie May requires warmer water than the stuff from the hose!
As some of you may know, the Kawell kids have already made two movies: The Search for the Lost Ruby and A Christmas Carol, and we’re working on another one right now with our dear friend Ashley Tucker! No, this isn’t a death scene, this is just me (Abby) showing off my ‘ninja’ outfit!
This is the completed outfit: a royal guard! (but yeah, it is a bad guy!)
The boys have also been practicing their archery.

As you can see from this picture, Daddy had an unfortunate accident right before his birthday party. He was actually at an out of town conference on his birthday (march 4th) so we planned a party for the Sunday after he returned home. Unfortunately he pulled a tendon in his leg playing basketball right before the party!

Cousins Sarah and Evie spent a few days with us over Spring Break and little Evie enjoyed every minute she spent with her beloved Nathan!
Every year, the Birmingham news sets up a scavenger hunt downtown and this year’s was at the Southern Museum of Flight. After two days, we completed the hunt!
This is the (slightly creepy) interior of a plane that crashed into a river many years ago and was only recently lifted out and put on display.
