No, we're not dead!!!

Trust me; there are still functioning humans in the Kawell household, and if we haven't updated the Blog for a while...well, we've been busy!
Let's see, two Saturdays ago we started putting in the floor downstairs as we come near the end of our Downstairs Remodel Project. Our wonderful friend, Mr. Harper, came again to help out!




But, they couldn't finish sealing the floors because all day Sunday we were preparing for our annual vacation to Florida! Early Monday morning we set off, praying for no jellyfish or seaweed. Well... there were no jellyfish!

Fortunately, we only had really bad seaweed for one day, and we spent the rest of the six-day trip swimming...

And, of course, building sandcastles... make that, a sand city!

It was a wonderful vacation!!!

A fishy and baby photo shoot!!

I (Abigail) finally managed to get some good fish pictures! I have had fish in my pond for about a month now and they trust me enough to let me get near them with the camera.

By putting the fish food in the blue ring, I taught the fish to come to one part of the pond to eat. When they swim up for dinner, I can check them for spots, injuries or parasites.

We've had our cousins; Sarah and little sister Evelyn, over for the past few days and yesterday we had a backyard photo shoot! Evie wasn't just thrilled with the idea, but we managed to get some good ones!
