The Impossible…

“I have learned to use the word ‘impossible’ with the greatest of caution.”

Wernher von Braun was supposed to have said that in reference to the Space Age he pioneered, but the quote was rendered relevant in Alabama this morning, where stunned residents awoke to an actual dusting of snow!

For the snow continued to fall! SDC11284

Our cup runneth over!

The boys even built a snowmouse early in the day! (complete with sunglasses, of course)

Unfortunately, by the time the snow was thickest, most of us were outside with our neighbors, having an all out snowball war, whose violence extended from their front yard, around both houses, and to our back yard! No casualties were reported, however, the violence of warfare distracted many would-be cameramen from photographing the final amount of the snowfall!

So you’ll just have to take our word for it. It was a lot of snow.

For Alabama, anyway.
