Thursday was the day the carpet was laid. The man was suppose to be here at 8:30 am and after a phone call he arrived at 10:45 and did a very nice job.
Everyone is pleased and especially Grandma & Grandpa. I also spent the day trying to get the sound working on G&G 11 month old computer. After talking to the customer service people at HP I just went out and bought a new sound card and have that working. We also got their surround sound system working.
Yesterday Samuel and I spent the morning working at Aunt Carol’s getting her house ready for the big birthday party. We washed tables and hung lights.
Samuel also practiced his piano at Aunt Carol’s and got to serenade her dog.
We also went out to G&G’s old house and helped with some chores to make the house ready for sale.
After some work Samuel decided to take a dip in the very cool pool water.
We than had a good evening relaxing with Aunts and Uncles and catching up.
